These Terms of Use govern your use of OFC Events, operated by Oslo Fun Club (org. no. 936 627 838). By using the service you agree to these terms.

About the service

OFC Events is a curated guide to what's on in Oslo. You can discover events, save favourites and register for free events. Organisers can apply to publish their own events. The service is run by the non-profit association Oslo Fun Club, whose purpose is to create a social and inclusive meeting place for people in Oslo.

Accounts and registration

  • Creating an account is free. You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • The service is intended for users aged 18 and over.
  • We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law.

Organiser accounts

If you apply as an organiser, you are responsible for the events and content you publish, including that it is accurate, lawful and yours to share. New organisers' events are reviewed before they go live; we may decline or remove content that breaks these terms.

Registering for free events

  • Registering for a free event gives you a ticket in your wallet. Where capacity is limited, places are allocated in order, with a waitlist if enabled.
  • You can cancel your registration until the event starts. Please cancel if you can't attend, so the place can go to someone on the waitlist.
  • Registration may close shortly before the event starts.

Paid events and external bookings

For paid events we link you to the organiser's own website, where booking and payment take place. OFC Events does not sell tickets and does not process payments. Availability, prices, refunds and the purchase itself are the responsibility of the organiser and their site.

Acceptable use

  • Don't use the service for anything unlawful, misleading or harmful.
  • Don't upload content you don't have the rights to, or that infringes others' rights.
  • Don't attempt to disrupt, abuse or gain unauthorised access to the service.

Content and intellectual property

The OFC Events platform, brand and design belong to Oslo Fun Club. Content published by organisers remains theirs; by uploading it you grant us the right to display it within the service.

Liability

The service is provided “as is”. Event details are supplied by organisers and may change or be cancelled. To the extent permitted by law, Oslo Fun Club is not liable for third-party events, external sites, or indirect loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Norwegian law.

Changes

We may update the service and these terms. The date at the top shows the current version; significant changes will be highlighted in the service. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.

Privacy

How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any dispute shall be handled by the Norwegian courts, with Oslo as the legal venue.
